The blessings in embracing and praying for the five-fold-ministry

There is a great need to pray for the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers more than any other period in the history of the church. Why? Because of the great responsibilities that they carry in their offices of operations. Change must begin with the Spiritual leaders in the Body of Christ. The Church must rise in intense prayer for these men and women who are spiritual leadership of the church. They are the front-line generals of the church for and under the Lord Jesus Christ. How should we pray?

1. To be filled with a deep, genuine revelation of Christ;
2. To experience a continual increase of ministerial anointing in their various capacities;
3. To be kept faithful to their calling;
4. To be kept blameless;
5. To be kept victorious

In praying for these gifts, our prayers must have the following three qualities

1. Pure – no hidden sin or unforgiveness = unhindered
2. Passionate – Fervent prayers (James5:16)
3. Persistent – relentlessly = until will see the answers!

The Prayer Points

1. Pray for a Great Awakening and cleansing in the pulpits and ministries all across the world – that Pastors would have a personal Great Awakening and encounter with God that would bring great change!
2. Pray the five-fold ministry would raise up a standard before the Church and lead the way in purity, humility, repentance, prayer, and in unity.
3. Pray that Pastors across the world would build God’s House according to His specifications – as a House of Prayer as Jesus declared it to be.
4. Pray that God would baptize them with fire, with courage, strength, boldness, with truth and with His perfect love – so sinners will be brought to their knees as they speak!
5. Pray that our Spiritual leaders will not give in to the tremendous pressure in our culture to compromise the truth.
6. Pray they would fear God more than man and live first and foremost for God’s pleasure and approval. That they are totally devoted to Him.
7. Pray that they would be salt and light and take a stand for righteousness in our land. Pray that God would use them to speak to the moral issues of our day without compromise.
8. Pray for unity among the five-fold ministries. That they work together as one, with one heart, one mind, and in one accord.
9. Pray they lead congregations to a place of a genuine heart of repentance and brokenness on behalf of our churches and our nation.
10. Pray for a Revival of Truth in the Pulpits all across world starting with leadership.
11. Pray they would be led by the Holy Spirit and according to His Word and NOT by their fresh especially in decision making.
12. Pray that God would give them His wisdom and Spirit of discernment especially during these times of great compromise and deception in the world.
13. Pray that they would know God, be strong and do exploits for the Kingdom (Daniel 11:32b). That they may stay close to God and be men and women of faith and prayer.
14. Pray for Pastors and their families, for God’s hand of protection, and strength, God’s presence to continuously cover and protect them.
